Saturday 7 November 2026 — starting on the Kaapsehoop escarpment and finishing at Mbombela Stadium.
- 42.2 km — R350 · start 5:30 AM at Kaapsehoop · buses depart 2:30 AM
- 21.1 km — R190 · start 5:30 AM on Kaapsehoop Road · buses depart 3:00 AM
- 10 km — R120 · start 5:30 AM on Kaapsehoop Road · buses depart 3:30 AM
- Fun Run — R60 · start 6:00 AM
Entry fees exclude the R60 compulsory bus fare. Temporary licence (10, 21.1 & 42.2 km): R50. T-shirts R180 — 500 free T-shirts for the first 500 entries.
Pre-entries closed on 3 October 2026. Late entries are now open, limited to the entry cap. Enter online at nelspruitmarathonclub.com, and check with the club for the late-entry closing date and fees.
A 2027 Two Oceans Marathon & Comrades Marathon qualifier. 42 km halfway cut-off 9:00 AM (no medals after the 11:30 AM cut-off). Prize-giving 10:00 AM for all distances.

Make a weekend of it
The 42.2 km starts in Kaapsehoop village, high on the escarpment. Most runners are bused up from Mbombela in the dark and are heading down the mountain soon after first light, so why not come back and see it properly? Stay over on the mountain, look for the wild horses that roam freely through the village, or come back the following Saturday, 14 November, for our Remembrance Day Commemoration at Kaapsehoop Cemetery.
